Tom and Jake’s Barbershop is excited to announce that we are now offering chair rental opportunities at our shop in Market Square. We are a blend of old-school charm and modern flair. We're all about timeless cuts for all and sharing the art of men’s invigorating hot towel shaves, while also delving into contemporary services like waxing. If you are a licensed Barber or Stylist, we would love to discuss this opportunity with qualified candidates.

Requirements:

• Valid Colorado barber or cosmetology license
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Confidence in barbering and cutting men and women’s hair, including clipper and scissor cuts
• Knowledge of current trends and techniques in hair styling
• Provide your own tools, and small equipment.
• Manage your own books/schedule and payment process for your customers. (chair rental only)
• You must have experience and an established customer base to be considered for salaried employment.

Responsibilities:

• Chair Rental - Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Salaried Employees - Must share cleaning/organizing, laundry, and open/close shop when needed by the owner.
• You must work well with others in a professional environment
• Provide excellent customer service to clients
• Adhere to all state and local regulations regarding barbershop operations
• Ensure clients with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner
• Foster a professional environment and build strong relationships with your colloquies and clients
• Sport a positive attitude, welcoming every client with respect and professionalism

Job Benefits:

·      Set your own schedule and hours within these shop hours. (Chair rental only!) Mon. 10 - 6 and Tues.       through Sat. 8 - 6.   

·      Chair Renters - One month free booth rent before signing a lease.

·      Salaried employees (negotiated commission with tips) will schedule hours with approval from owner.

·      Salaried employees will be paid every Friday.
